Axiom 49 Problems. HELP!!

So I plug-ed in my Axiom 49 the other day. And it was working fine with Ableton 8. I'm running Lion 10.7.1. Then I do the driver update for my Digidesign Mbox 2. I dump all the old setting in the Axiom 49 and a day later nothing works. I go to the Midi/Sync tab and I choose Axiom 49, and the Input and Output read "None." I look at the bottom to see the Tabs "Midi Port, Tracks, Sync,..." with no other options that I can choose under them. I looked to see if I needed to update the driver for the Axiom 49 but it says that it is just plug and play. I had this working just fine the other day and now all the options in the Midi/Sync Tab under preferences in ableton are gone.

I had similar issues.
Check out this page regarding conflicts with pro tools midi drivers. Follow the instructions. They worked for me.
