No ASIO after Omni firmware 2.10 update?
It appears I no longer have ASIO drivers after updating the HD Omni to firmware 2.10(coming from 2.6) Can anyone else attest to this?

Re: No ASIO after Omni firmware 2.10 update?
I do have ASIO driver with Firmware version 2.10. If you haven't already, try turning your Omni off then on and reboot your computer.
I updated to 2.10 (from 2.6) a while ago and the only issue I have had with the ASIO driver was after I updated Sony Vegas to the latest version (10d) very recently. Doing that update just flat shut down the ASIO driver on all apps until I cycled my system as mentioned above. All seems to be OK now. I guess the other thing I should mention is that I am running PTHD 9.0.2. Greg

Re: No ASIO after Omni firmware 2.10 update?
Thanks for the feedback Greg. It's still a no go on my system. The only difference I see is that I'm on 9.0.1.

Re: No ASIO after Omni firmware 2.10 update?
Just an update, it looks like it's working fine. I fired up Reason stand alone and I see the HD Omni. The app it wasn't working in is in beta, so I'll report the issue to the proper sources.

Re: No ASIO after Omni firmware 2.10 update?
Jay,
I'm not sure where the ASIO driver is located so I can't check the version. However, it is the version that installs with PTHD 9.0.2. (How about those Twins last night!!) Hope this helps, Greg

Re: No ASIO after Omni firmware 2.10 update?
Sorry for the thread Hi-jack, but where do you get the ASIO driver for the OMNI? I've looked every where. I can't see the OMNI hardware anywhere other than inside PT.

Yep, you are absolutely right. I'm sorry. I was hunting for Windows play back through the Omni, reading through this I got confused.

Re: No ASIO after Omni firmware 2.10 update?
There is no wave driver with HD Native so you need to use another sound card to hear Windows sounds (or anything that needs a wave driver) through the HD Native system. What I do is use the SPDIF output from my on-board sound card into the Omni SPDIF input. This way I can use Windows Media Player or i-Tunes utilizing the D/A converters in the Omni.
