But I interpret that as Michael asking for wider bus widths.
Which you have now.

I don't see Ceri re-writing the renderer to extend bed widths.
Mostly because when he was asked, he said
"over my dead body".

Yep. Michael said the exact same thing I just did.

7.1.4 doesn't interfere with Atmos at all. The top corners need to be assigned to objects, so there's some fiddling with busses. But the overall result is much better.

Wow peeps, with the new in built renderer you get all your inputs back!!!
And I have a hunch Pro Tools devs have improved the overall audio engine.
I can quite happily work in Dolby Atmos at 32 buffer size!
