You all have obviously been thinking about this mess for a while. I have had my head buried in my work. I'll guess Avid has decided to get rid of HD software but are in a pickle about how to do it (for whatever reasons we may only speculate). They have chosen to kill off their HD customer base, one customer at a time, all the while charging them for it! Makes. Perfect. Sense.

Again, thanks for your help. I see now this is MY bad if only because I am left holding the bag.

I gave Avid 2 years to prove their worthiness. It's only been about 1.5 years but I've seen enough. I'm getting out.
