Default New User Conference Experience

I'm liking the new interface.

Nice to hear.
I'm still trying to figure out why the previous URLs like the one in your signature do not show up as hyperlinks. They look to be the same structure as the regular UBB code, which still works like it should: Da DUC
Maybe it is limited to signatures, but we'll try to figure it out.

It's O.K. I'm not a big fan.

I went back in my settings and changed the url setting to [ url ] WEBSITE [ /url ] (remove all spaces) (your instructions told me to do this!)

I appreciate the speed improvements, but I do not like the interface. It's harder on the reader's eyes (the layout forces the eye to jump around too much, constantly distracted by the "graphic candy.") In other words...it's everything the ProTools interface is not.

A word from our Fairness Dept: I wonder how much latitude this software package actually extends to its users (I mean Digi, not us.)

One step forward, two steps backwards.

Digi Web Admin, thanks for upgrading the forum software.

I agree that the new site is MUCH faster, but the layout is harder to read. Part of it is that it is unfamiliar, but maybe there is a setting in the preferences that may help:

"Which style sheet (skin) do you want to use for your display?"

Are there other skins available that we could use to make it easier to read?

Also, I see the "Recent Posts" links at the bottom of the Main Page, but is there a way to list the "Recent Threads"? The difference being "Recent Posts" may show multiple posts from the same thread, while "Recent Threads" (like on the old forum) would should the latest post from the recently updated threads.
