Default 2020.9 stability...

...is outstanding. Ten long work days logged with 2020.9.0 Ultimate Native on Mojave with a trashcan, zero crashes, no unexplained beachballs. This release feels like a rock.

Glad to hear that. It gives me hope. It's not been quite as rock solid here (daily crashes with sessions which use VIs), but it does feel slightly more buttoned-up than the previous version.

I was thinking just yesterday that this version has been unusually stable.

Sort of bothers me that the circular logo isn't in the middle if I'm honest, like a whole mix being a bit lopsided. Still, I'm glad to see the engineers are making use of their spare time and aren't just sitting around twiddling their thumbs while there are no bugs that need fixing.

And it’s different in .1 version.

Except for the MiniGrand in my template, I don't usually have VIs running.

I agree with this thread. I think the fact that there are five (!) supported macOS releases says something.

The last time that happened was 2019.6, which was also stable IME.

And the last time before that was PT 7.4, which if memory serves, was pretty solid!!!

Ditto here. Just started a month long project from LA and it's with picture ProRes and no issues at all. A lot of changes. Running RX8 Advance too BTW. Very nice new features that really helped with outputting proper mixing levels quickly. Love the new Loudness control they updated, which just has a set and click for
UPDATED streaming standards for YouTube etc. Very helpful yesterday with I had to resend several, mixes to the editor for client review. Anyway just ROCK SOLID since I updated a week ago. BTW.. I was not really having any problems with previous, except for Video.. I am running the same OS as "reichman" and OSX 10.14.6. Was not going to update until they sorted out the Qt thing with Catalina. Some of my pals got caught flat footed with that issue. Don't want to have to resort to 3rd party for quick resends I usually have to do.
