Default Line 1365 error at the end of a bounce
I am trying to fix this error for a fellow user.

Specs -
PT 2018.3 - Win 10
HP PC tower - 8GB ram
Focusrite Clarett 2

She is getting this error at the end of a bounce:

E:\code\222370\ProTools\NewFileLibs\FF\Audio\FF_Au dioFile.cpp Line 1365

Prefs - Trashed
2018 Reinstalled
Focusrite drivers updated
ASIO4ALL does not fix problem

Has anyone dealt with this yet?

Is there a CD/DVD in a drive or a USB stick in a port? If so, remove and try starting PT again.

Nothing in the CD tray and nothing in the USB slots except the iLOK

may i ask, does this happen in both flavors of Bounce, Realtime and Offline ??

Well....

I showed her how to do an old-fashioned "bus bounce" like we do on the HD3 TDM systems. That worked, but it leaves her with a WAV file and she needs to be able to make mp3s for her students.

This is oddly frustrating.

Any and all bounces result in the ERROR I posted. The only type of mixing that seems to work is a real-time bus record.

May be barking up the wrong tree here, but....

I see that the error references an "E" drive. That's not where PT is installed, is it? IT should be on the "C" drive, shouldn't it?

PT is installed on C. This is why this seems weird. Her E drive has to be the iLOK, but E does not show up in explorer.
