Lost MIDI after 10.6.8 upgrade

Hi,

I updated to 10.6.8 and I cannot for the life me get MIDI into ProTools.

Know good keyboard, known good cables, latest MIDI interface driver. If I used the AudioMIDI app and run the test I see that I have input from the keyboard so it must be a config thing within PT.

I've tried trashing various MIDI related .plist files but no love.

MIDI thru is selected. Input devices is selected. Any other help?

All works fine on my other drive with 10.6.7

Best thing to do is post as many details about the keyboard and the MIDI interface as you can.

Thanks for your reply. I'm using a generic Yamaha electric piano and an old MIDISport 1x1 MIDI interface, although this info is questionably helpful as the exact setup works perfectly in a cloned drive that still has 10.6.7.

Given the fact that I can see that i have a good connection between the keyboard and the MIDI interface using the test function in the AudioMIDI app, I'm pretty sure it is a PT thing. What I'm hoping for is a list of config or plist file that i might track or a checklist of PT specific options to check.
