Unable to renew subscription
So, it's time to nenew my Perpetual License (which expires on 25 March 2020) and I go to the My Products section of Avid to renew as I have done in previous years and it says my license is active but it says my Software Updates and Support Plan will expire on 25 March but there is nowhere for me to renew. It has a space for renewal through an Avid reseller but I purchased direct from Avid many years ago. This is really annoying!!!! Can anyone help??? Is it possible that it will automatically renew when it expires as Avid have my credit card details?

I see you have a case open so please watch for a case notice email.
If needed, you could purchase a renewal from an Avid reseller and enter that code in the field for your product in my.avid.com/products.

Thanks Jeffro, I will keep an eye out for the email.
I don't want to spend $779 on a renewal from an Avid reseller. Last year the renewal was around $100. I don't understand how the price can jump that high!!!

Sounds like you are referencing the wrong product since the Update Plan renewal for PT is $199US. Do you have a preferred reseller or a URL for what you found?

Isn't that US$99 price only for the first 2 years and then it goes to standard pricing? (and standard pricing is US$199)
I found re-sellers in Australia but the cheapest I saw was for about AUS$450. Can I use Sweetwater in the US even though I am in Australia?

Sorry, clarifying... Crossgrade to Subscription is $99US/year (for the first 2 years), renewal of an Update Plan for a Perpetual License is $199US/year. Not sure what product would be $779 - that would be more than a new perpetual license ($599) and if that's AUD then would be $481.50US which doesn't really match up to anything. Please reply with a URL if you have something you want feedback on. You can contact an Avid Reseller to see what their rules/restrictions are.
