Default Best foot controller for use with Eleven Rack?

Just wondering if there was a preferred MIDI foot controller for Eleven Rack? Wondering what Digi tested it with.

I figure your going to want something with at least two pedals built in for volume and Wha plus maybe more for modulation etc.

There are several options as im sure you know. But I like these 3 for various reasons.
With the Stomp IO you will not only get the controller but all the Amplitube products. then buy a couple of single midi volume/wah pedals and you got it. Thats nice because you could position the volume or wah pedals away from the main pedal. The Stomp IO is pretty much like the Eleven Rack, as it is also an interface.

Roland makes great products. Iv never had a problem with them.

and finally........ thats right BEHRINGER

Sure they make some sub par things, but this is just Midi info being transfered. Its hard to mess that up. The pro is, its cheap, and you got lots of pedals, con is its not as sturdy as the Roland or Stomp, but if your not jamming your foot into it like you would a red headed step child it will hold up fine.

The Voodoo Labs Ground Control Pro is going to be the 'pedal of choice' for Eleven Rack.

Hmmm, why was that chosen over a more conventional controller like the Roland FC300? I personally dont like that style of controller with small button, i prefer the larger ones. But any way, will the screen on the Ground Control spell out the names of the Amp models in the rack? Kinda suprised Digi didnt make a controller just for Eleven like Line 6 POD, Amplitube, and Guitar Rig do.

Not sure why the Ground Control was chosen.

Keep in mind you can use any controller, you'll just have to program it. We'll have a template for the Ground Control specifically coming at a future date.

As for why we didn't do our own foot controller - another good question that I don't have a solid answer to. I'll see if I can dig anything up on that...

It seems to be the single most popular pro foot controller from what I have read over years. Plus it will interface with just about any connection type.

Thanks for that info! I'm a midiot so this template sounds great!

Any thoughts on a release? Days? Weeks? Months? I'm fine without since I happily bought without but still very excited about this!

Any chance of doing a profile for the Liquid foot? especially the Liquid foot Jr.?

the Liquid foot comes with software for Mac and PC -- sooooooo I think this one would be real easy for you guys to create a profile/downloadable file for it (so knuckleheads like me can use it)

http://www.liquid-foot.com/index.shtml

You also cn get a Mission engineering expression pedal (with a switch) optimized for the Liquid foot (example turn wah on/off from pedal like a real wah)

http://www.mission-engineering.com/M...gineering.html

Both of these are very popular with Fractal Axe-Fx owners

Can you better define the "future date" for the Ground Control template?

I think it would be absolutely perfect if Digidesign had their own pedal for the Eleven Rack, as long as it included two control pedals, one for volume and the other for WAH or what ever the user decides to CC control with it. CAT5 would be nice, but not absolutely necessary.

Keep up the good work Digidesign!!!

Thanks Tech support, you are absolutely right, no offence to the moderator but I bought the Behringer FCB1010 over 6 months ago and is to date the worst midi nightmare of my life. 1) there is a recall on the eprom, 2) whatever you figure out and try to save you loose and soon as you power down, (expression pedal wise). 3) You can buy an aftermarket UNO eprom which in my case made matters worse, by the time I almost got it to work I had to stop to learn how to play guitar again, pun intended. 4) Eurekaprom has the answer but has no phone number so you are at the mercy of paypal or google wallet. I've tried 15 times to purchase but they must use a behringer phone controller. Don't believe me. Research outside outside of this forum. By the way, you are all invited to a bonfire party at my house and because of the ground control and mission controllers the 11 rack is not invited.
