Default 3rd party programs with HD interface

I have ProTools HD 9 running perfectly fine on Windows 7 (64 bit).

Is it possible for 3rd party programs to play back through my HD interface? I am specifically interested in getting iTunes, Windows Media Player, and a program called Room EQ Wizard (REW) to be able to work.

I know they can't use the HD interface while I am in Pro Tools, but how can I get them to work after I close Pro Tools?

Thanks!
Jim
