Digi Core Crashing...... PT LE 6.9.2cs2

So... Did all the updates, whenever I try to launch the digi CoreAudio it just crashes (the 002r starts responding and then... NOTHING.
If I look inside the Force Quit applications, it shows the Digi CoreAudio not responding.
I can't even force quit, I have to crash the whole computer (with the start button) to reboot it.
This is really annoying!
What can I do

Please start with the steps in the 'General Troubleshooting' sticky at the top of this forum.

and then?
ProTools launches ok, the core driver for everything else just crashes the system!

Are you trying to launch the CoreAudio Manager app while PT is already running?

nope!
Straight out of a restart!
I launch the app, the 002r clicks it's couple of on/off stuff and then..... nothing happens! And it just shows up in the force quit apps as not responding.
very frustrating!

Did you have any problems with Pro Tools before the upgrade?
Are there any other unusual sound applications on your computer, or any sort of unusual applications at all for that matter?

Does Pro Tools still function OK? Is the problem with just Core Audio?

Well, god knows how, I just restarted the computer and I said I would give it a try again......It now works!
Now, how do I make iTunes play out with the 002?
There used to be times when I could choose which apps use the coreaudio driver!
