Midi timing/Set-up in PT 5.1.1
Hey,
I'm learning to use midi in Protools, just so I don't die stupid. Coming from Logic, it's a bit of a schock, I must say. I understand now why people hate OMS, but anyway. Question: Why on earth is the metronome completely out of whack on the first two beats of the count off? Is that a feature to keep you on your toes? My set-up is PT 5.1.1 + G4 533 + Unitor 8 through Griffin serial adapter thingy + OMS 2.3.8. Also, is there a way to get patch names in PT even though I don't have an Opcode interface? I didn't realize that Midi in PT was so...primitive. Thanks for the help. Ciao, Fab |
