Default No more perpetual reinstatements from Sweetwater?

While trying to help another poster here I went over to the Sweetwater site to check if they still offered perpetual reinstatements. And it doesn't look like they do. Taking a look at this page's chart: https://www.sweetwater.com/shop/pro-...pgrade/finder/ they show what are supposed to be perpetual licenses. However if you go to the individual product pages you see the word subscription.

Not being in the market for one I don't know one way or the other but I'd suggest that anyone needing a reinstatement to email Sweetwater and ask them what exactly is on offer.

That page is pretty outdated - no reference of 2019 or 2020 versions.

I *think* Avid did away with the $99 option without support, so the only option would be:
Vanilla: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/det...petual-license
Ultimate: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/det...petual-license

I'm not talking about renewals but about reinstatements. Two different animals. Sweetwater used to sell reinstatements but looks like they're not anymore. And yes Avid did do away with the $99 option without support. And really there's no need to reference 2019 or 2020 versions as that's assumed that is what one is buying for.

Avid did away with reinstatements at the same time they raised the annual renewal to $199. Retailers bought up all the reinstatement they could when Avid made the announcement and have been selling them since. When they’re gone, they’re gone.

I know all that. What I was getting at it appears that Sweetwater is no longer a source for reinstatements. I just wanted someone to cut through the gobbledegook on their site and confirm what I suspected.

Stepping through that linked page leads to sweetwater.com/store/detail/PTHDAUP--avid-1-year-updates-and-support-for-pro-tools-ultimate-perpetual-license-expired-planwhich is also the first product listed when searching Pro Tools Ultimate.

Thanks jeffro for that. At least Ultimate users get something. How about those who are on PT regular aka Vanilla? Have those reinstatements gone away from Sweetwater? Depending on how I went through their matrix it seemed like non-Ultimate users don't get a reprieve.

Aside from the one for Pro Tools Ultimate I only see EDU pricing listed for Pro Tools so would recommend calling them to inquire.
