won't recognize midi device
My lack of midi knowledge is galactic---I searched the forum but no luck.
I'm using Xpand with my le 3, pt7.4.2. I have previously connected my e-mu key controller with a midi cable to my le rack and all worked fine. Until tonight, when there's no sound, no midi light on the front of the rack, no recognition in midi devices. (Checked controller in garage band on my laptop and it works fine.) Ideas? I may be missing some incredibly basic step. Thanks in advance Stumped in Nashville |

Re: won't recognize midi device
Well, after trying everything else I replaced the midi cord and what do you know, everything now works fine. Once again, I've been oblivious to the obvious.
