Okay, I just answered the survey. Ridiculous! A Lilliputian survey. I thought I could specify requests, as with Steinberg!

I'm talking to Avid. Avid doesn't read you here. He'd close the shop!

Makes me sad, but for what I do, can't really justify it. I really like PT, always have, and have used it for many years. I will just run 2019.12 until it is no longer supported on my hardware, and use that time to make the transition to another DAW.
Sucks
Have fun seeing everything that PT doesn't have :

I'm not talking about bugs. I'm talking about the richness of functions. I have often read on this forum (or I understood the unspoken): I do not know the other DAW, but PT is the best ... You have to compare objectively. That's a measure. It's good to have a perspective. We can't be against better information. Knowing the right elements of PT is good. Knowing what he does not (and who is possible to have in this world) is also useful.

Sorry if I was not clear or polite. Didn’t mean the post was towads you, just a general comment on the fact the grass is not always greener on the other DAW side

We all use what works for us and it is a good thing there are soo many choices these days so Everyone can find their lane.

All the best

No worries, and I agree with you. For years I want to choose only one DAW and I can not. I learned with PT and it's hard to rule it out.

I was only answering Big Mother. I wanted to say that life doesn't stop with its PT subscription!

not to sound like a broken record BUT when Avid increased HD upgrades by 300% and moved to an annual subscription for upgrades. Avid PROMISED MORE upgrades where in fact Avid has given FEWER upgrades than they did before.
Awesome business model
- Fewer upgrades.
- Waiting several days to respond to support cases
- Higher upgrade costs.
- Failure to LISTEN to customers.
If I could move out the Pro Tools Ecosystem I would.
