invalid fades, audio lost when opening session. pleas help

Hi

I edited drums yesterday, and I did use crossfades between eras where there where no audio(as I nudgedsome drum hits back and forth). I didn`t trim audio bounderies before using the crossfade, and today I`ve learned that this is an invalid fade.

When I reopened the session today I get the *invalid fades* window, then the session opens.But here is the problem:

there are blanks across the whole drumsession without any audio.I get no *missing files* window when opening the session. No greyed out audio as usually relinks when I click the automatic relink command.

Is this some kind of bug?

I tried some things to get the audio back, but with no luck

It`s just strange that some parts of the audio is gone. How can I relink the audio when the files are not in the session and pro tools don`t recognize them as missing files?

Hope some expert can chime in.

Need more info. What version of PT and what OS?
