Plugin window causes protools to crash

I have Demos of Studio one 4 and Cubase and they both work flawlessly.
In PT, when I load and instrument or a plugin I’m not allowed to close the window without PT crashing. There are no bad plugins unless the Arturia synths I just purchased don’t work on PT. Yes they are AAX format .
Yes they are 64 bit like my system. If someone had had this particular problem please advise. I couldn’t find this topic in the forum so apologies if I missed it.
My computer is running very well so I’m at a loss. And like I said the other DAW programs are crushing along beautifully.

Also , it doesn’t matter if it’s an instrument insert or a plugin insert.
When I close that window - bye bye PT!

There are other threads with many ideas. The first thing to try would be to trash preferences, the next to reinstall the plugins that cause the issue as they sometimes get corrupt according to other members.
