12.8.1 issue with audio latency

HI! PT 12.8 and 12.8.1 have big latency in HW inserts. Previously was 2.20 ms in inserts and now I must put 23.42 ms for good phase. And when i record, all my audio not in grid i always must put some delay around 22ms for propper record. And the biggest problem that i can download now previous version 12.7.1

what is your buffer set to?

And sample rate...

And is delay compensation enabled? And what delay correction numbers are showing up across the tracks?

Try to tell us what you are doing with what so we don't have to waste time playing 20 questions. Start at the "help us help you" link up top of this web page to get an idea of what information is expected.

And basic troubleshooting instructions are also listed there. You should have already tried things like trashing prefs and checking to see if this only happens in one session. Let us know exactly what troubleshooting you have tried and the results.

After trashing my pref, everithyng start work normaly. Thank You!

I found where is the problem. When "ignore errors during playback and record" is on, audio start recording whith delay. In 12.7.1 everithyng was fine

You are a little tough, my friend. I would not like to have you as a judge for the theft of a chocolate nugget! We often see, on this blog, this intransigence of the "just cause", as a small dictatorship. One can explain politely that a little more information would also be useful for the user community. We need to do this education, but we are all a little flawed about the problems and their description.

However, we have learned that the choice to ignore recording errors in the latest version may behave differently than in previous versions. The user mentions that he did not have this problem before, under the same conditions. This is interesting information in itself.
