Probably a dumb question, but have you clean-installed OSX before installing PT? I have found most strange issues are because OSX has been upgraded from old to new major version...

I might have expected the opposite, but "real time" bouncing??? An unexpected bug.

Some are having issues and others are not which is a good sign I suppose. I'll have to check when I get home (I installed 11.2.1 but didn't test thoroughly) and report back.

Default 11.2.1 My Findings

Jfreak not a dumb question at all! I did when going to Mavericks. What is off to me is I can real time bounce perfectly fine with 11.1.3 with no issues and low buffer, etc. Offline too. But since 11.2 I cannot. It's not the biggest deal in The world but I like things to be right.

This should be fixed if you update the Massey Plugin Wizard.

Several people reported this in the Massey thread in the AAX plugins forum.

How are you guys bouncing to disk in real-time? I just want to make sure I'm not repeating what you've already said (or maybe confirm that I'm seeing the same thing).

I'm bouncing instrument tracks to disk by

create/record the instrument track
create a new audio track
set input on the new audio track to be the instrument track
record arm the audio track
record the audio to the track

At that point, it's not crashing for me. I have a 27" Haswell iMac running 10.9.4.

Where it does crash for me is if I right-click the instrument track and delete it without setting the input on the audio track back to no input. That's frustrating.

FWIW, Avid is VERY aware of the bounce bug. They couldn't get a fix for it in time to get 11.2.1 out the door - and since 11.2.1 fixed so many OTHER things they did not want to hold it up. No need to make idea scale topics on it.

How are we supposed to know what Avid is aware of? Sincere question. Is there an area of the forum which outlines what they're currently working on? You seem to have inside info. How can we find that same info?

Can not get through a Real Time bounce though. This has been reported since 11.2… I was using RT bounce daily in 11.1.3 just fine. But now it's causing CPU errors.

Various plugins placed after NI Massive still causing crippling cpu spikes. I'm HD Native PCIe

My WA. Put Massive processing on an aux, route there. Painless enough for now. Who knows what other combinations are slowing things down.

Multi-Out VI session data import still not working right.
Move song start with tempo changes still not keeping everything intact.
This is odd! I have NI Komplete Ultimate and Ive tested them NI Massive and all with tons of plugins behind them in different orders and RTB and off line bounce both work fine here on Pro Tools 11.2.1 HD on PT HD Native PCIe. This is really strange. I've never had an issue with this on my rig. I wonder how our systems are different.

You can't, Danny can.

But if there is solid info on a bug - doesn't it make sense to let us know under what conditions it shows up so we can avoid them for now? As it is - we can't help the ones running into this because for many of us - it isn't an issue - but AVID could help them.
