Default Move events up/down macro anyone?

Hey forum I'd like to pick your brains on a topic that is causing some grey hair here (not that much dark hair would be left, but that's something ese).

With keyboard maestro I have a little macro that performs cut, move edit sel up or down and then paste to move edits from one track to the next up or down with one keystroke. It's very handy but obviously it fails when I try to move a block of edits on a couple of tracks because it would need to select multiple tracks to paste to.

Can anybody thiink of a solution?
