Default 2 monitors back to 1 - can't get video back from right screen

Hi guys,

A simple one, I guess, but can't find the answer.

Was working on PT with dual monitors.
Dragged video to the right screen.

Now back on single screen. Video is nowhere to be seen, presumably it's off to the right.

Deleting the video and its track does nothing, it just won't appear ....

Any suggestions ?

thanks

Simon

I think the window positions are a dae pref or something. I would download the Digidesign pref trashed app from this forum and trash all the digi, dae, and avid prefs. See where that gets you.

Reconnect te other monitor drag the video back to its original position or to the view of the monitor you are going to keep, save session, turn off computer remove monitor and startup again this should work

If you only have access to one monitor, these should help:

Hi Simon - A quick fix can be to do a live disconnect on the monitor and wait 5-10 seconds then, when you plug it back in, the offscreen floating windows should all have defaulted back to the main monitor screen.

Then once you have configured how you like your window sizes and positions with your single monitor, save a Window Configuration in a "Window Config Import Session" and then import just that Window Config into any future sessions that exhibit the same problem.
