Default External Hard Drive for Macbook and 003

I've been recording a lot and my 80gig MacBook is running out of space. So I'm considering a external hard drive. Will this one work with my 003 and ProTools LE?

I'm looking for something very inexpensive but also reliable.

Thanks for the help.

FIrst of all it should have been the first thing you did after purchasing Pro Tool. Its a bad idea to record to the system drive. Second of all you HAVE to use a Firewire drive and it is HIGHLY recommended to find one with an Oxford 911 Chip in the enclosure.

This is the drive I recommend most:

Bullet proof, No Fan so its quiet, and has an Oxford 911 Chip in the enclosure. Spend the extra dough. Its like buying crappy tires at Walmart or buying Michelin's from the Michelin man. I guess you could choose one over the other, but one is a better choice than the other.

Thanks. The price of that isn't too bad.

Does anyone recommend any other external firewire hard drives that might be cheaper?

Thanks alot.
