Neo Assertion 1242 Help Needed

Greetings
I just had my first visit from NEO ASSERTION, 1242.
I am operating on MAC Powerbook 1.5 ghz G4 OS 10.4.11 with 512 MB RAM and ProTools 7.3.......yes I know....I should update.
I used to produce more a few years ago....am working on a radio documentary for the 50th anniversary of Canyonlands National Park....I'm in Moab.

My session is open....I have 12 tracks of interviews....and another track that I've been editing as the master audio track.

I have been saving and closing session and quitting PT for days now with no problem. Yesterday, Neo 1242 presented itself.
I have backed up all the audio files onto an external HD and have removed it...

I am prepared to dump the data bases and preferences, etc as described elsewhere on this site....thank you for that!....

I need to know what am I about to lose?
I have edited and labeled the interview tracks, copied the sections I want to use in my master audio track and have moved them there and have been editing....saving every 10-30 minutes....

Will any of that be saved?
Am I about to start over?
Since my session is open and will not save due to NEO do I just FORCE QUIT?

I guess this is what comes to a "neo"phyte producer....
Any input is most welcome.

Trash ALL of your PT prefs..and volumes empty trash and restart.
Try one of these app.. probably the v2.3 for Pro Tools 7 to 9 version. I think it might help you out.

I'll think about it, but I have not had a system that old in a while.. Those old G4 are SO SHOW man. Might want to upgrade to something more current for your workflow.. Time is money. I finally did after 8 years to new mac pro.. Everything runs so well at 64 bit! Running PT11 with hardly any memory usage at all! Maybe find some used Mac Pros and upgrade then?

I guess....gulp....I just FORCE QUIT??? since Neo Assertion won't allow the session to close?

I do have a better laptop......use it for photos.... macbook pro early 2011 OS 10.9.4
I see PT 11 does not have update for 9.4 yet. If I really get back into sound....I guess it will be time to get into PT11....
Are you any relation to Charles Ives?

It does not really matter.. Avid never keeps up with the OS updates.. You could use 11 I am sure without problems with 10.9.4 I am and it seems fine on my laptop.

Just read the posts on issues with OS and PT 11.. There is just a small issue with 11.2 right now with realtime bouncing to disc I and others have experienced.
