Default External Converters Outside of PT?

Howdy Folks,

I've been trying to research this but I'm confused, I apologize if this question has been answered elsewhere.

I use Mytek converters with pro tools, but I also use a program called Har-Bal that is independent of PT. Is there any way to use the external converters outside of PT?

I have no problem getting audio to play through my Digi 002 when using Har-Bal, I just want to use the same converters, too, that I use in Pro Tools so I can keep the variables objectively constant (using the ADC for clocking the 002 and the DAC for monitoring).

I have--

Digi 002
HP computer with Windows XP Pro

Please let me know, thanks!!!
