Default Eq iii vanished pt 12.7

For some reason my computer can't find eqIII anymore. I have uninstalled pt, reinstalled, found an ol eq III from PT 11.
I don't know what to do!
HELP!!!!!

i just removed my EQIII from plugins folder (just placed it on desktop) and it was re-installed when restarting pro tools ..

see if that works for you ...

I think John's on to something. Perhaps the plug-in you installed is 32-bit (from PT10) whereas PT12 needs 64-bit AAX.

Pro Tools Mac includes the core plug-ins in the app's package, so they get installed on launch if missing.

Delete any EQIII plug-in from your Plug-ins folder and launch PT. If that doesn't help please tell us what version of EQIII is installed (Get Info on the plug-in).

If running a pre-El Capitan OS try repairing Permissions (Disk Utility).

Ok. Looks like that did the trick. I used Easyfinder (a search app) to find all of the eqIII plugins in my system and deleted them all.
Restarted PT and it came up!!
