SCII+ TDM and PT24 Mix with PT 5.0

I haven't received PT 5.0 yet, but I'm really curious:
With the improved midi implementation of PT 5.0 will I be able to skip the external sequencer (Cakewalk) and get 20 bit digital SCII+ native in PT 5.0?
I'd like to skip the SCII+ analog outs altogether and monitor the SCII+ TDM with the mix comming out of my 888 SP/DIF.
I'm running NT.

You can already to this with the PT 4 versions. This has nothing to do with midi, but with the way audio gets routed through the TDM extension on your SCII+.

Is there software intergration on pt5 fo scII. I don't like the present scII software it seems antiquated??

Playback thru the TDM bus:

Have your MIDI track up
Bring up a AUX track
Select I/O/other/SCII/#1/1-2
Turn the AUX track up
Make sure the SCII plug-in is in the DAE folder.

Not yet but you can playback the SC card thru the TDM environment
