How to automate all parameters in EQ3 7-Band at once
I'm wondering how I go about automating all the parameters at once when adding an EQ in pro tools 11. Obviously I can automate one parameter at a time but surely there is a way to automate them all at once instead of having to do 10+ separately. Is this possible?

Re: How to automate all parameters in EQ3 7-Band at once
Welcome to the community.
Are you talking about changing presets with automation?

Re: How to automate all parameters in EQ3 7-Band at once
So basically, when I click the "auto" button in the EQ3 7 band plugin, I have the option to add automation to a whole bunch of parameters within the plugin, High-Pass Freq, Low-Pass Freq, Mid Band Gain, Low Band Frez etc etc.
I want to be able to automate all of these at once almost like a "master" automation for everything within that plug in. |

Re: How to automate all parameters in EQ3 7-Band at once
You can Ctrl+Alt+Cmd+click (Mac) the auto button to auto-enable all parameters for that plugin. I am not aware of a way to link parameters together, if that's what you mean.

Re: How to automate all parameters in EQ3 7-Band at once
Yeah pretty much I want to link all parameters together so I can automate them all at once so all the parameters change in sync with each other. The ctrl+alt+cmd+click method still just allows automation of each individual plugin.

After a bit of research it seems like this is a HD feature. Thanks for your responses though.

Re: How to automate all parameters in EQ3 7-Band at once
Ah, you wanted to group plugin parameters for multiple tracks. I don't think this can be done in PT First, but I haven't used it myself. Sorry.
