Default Preset drum patterns Pro Tools

I purchased Boom plug in but most of the patterns were hip hop, techno etc.
Can someone recommend a low cost drum plug in that offers rock, classic, rock, pop, 60's, reggae, blues, etc.? Budget up to $50.

Boom is included with Pro Tools so shouldn’t have to purchase that. As you’ve noticed, it’s geared towards Electronic music. TBH, it’s pretty rubbish for that anyway. Hehe...

Best bet is to look at Kontakt with 3rd party libraries or Addictive Drums, Strike, EZ Drummer etc. many out there to choose from, so best to either demo or have a look at some YouTube videos and see what floats your boat.

Here are my recommendations(having done tons of drum tracks both in the box, and played in via a Roland E-kit):
1-Superior Drummer 3(arguable un-matched. great sounds, expandable, fairly easy song construction and is also a very good drum replacement option).
2-EZdrummer 2. Think of this as Superior Drummer 3 "Lite". Really well-done but not as versatile as SD3.
3-Addictive Drums. Similar to EZdrummer and also very capable.

Watch some demo videos on these(either the manufacturer website or youtube) and see if one of them looks better to you. All can do very good pop/rock/country, etc

"Budget up to $50"

That's going to be the challenge.
