Ethernet Control as Backup
Is it possible to access the FOH only over a wireless access point instead of setting up the entire control surface (or as a backup in case of control surface failure)? I'm also looking for a way of configuring settings on the rack without actually having to setup the control surface.

Re: Ethernet Control as Backup
Hi Matt,
Yes, this can easily be done. Once the FOH Rack's been configured to use the Ethernet option you can then connect to it "virtually" without connecting the control surface. I recommend using static IP addressing instead of dynamic, so the FOH Rack always has the same IP address every time it boots up. If dynamic addressing is used the FOH Rack may occasionally receive a different address from the wireless router, and you won't be able to easily see what this new address is (without connecting the console to see the screen...).
