An Answer for future 12\" Powerbook Owners
If you're just wanting to get a powerbook for just tracking this thing is perfect and very trust worthy. Once again I went on location to record a live gig. Using OSX 10.3.3/PTLE 6.4/002r/12" 867G4 640 DDR/External 40 gig FW Drive, I recorded a live session that went 111 minutes straight. No crashes, hang-ups............ just did what it was supposed to do, and that's all I think there is to worry about.

Re: An Answer for future 12\" Powerbook Owners
what order do you have your 002R and your FW drive. What kind of drive is it. and I am assuming that you are using the same FW port for both. I have a friend with a 12 inch and he can't get it to record with FW drives. He has the 1ghz model just before these newest ones.

How many tracks were you recording? Stereo sum or individual mics?
