_Trade-in HD3 Accel system to HDX card is $5999 USD,

I see that you now can buy Pro Tools HD 10 on ebay for about $700. So, at $5000 for this brand new in the factory sealed box, it's a great deal, and you can keep your existing HD Accel system for a second room studio or sell them and get some extra money.

The Avid HDX card does work and compatible with the 96 I/O and 192 I/O audio interfaces. See the "Supported Interfaces" section on page 2 of the Avid HDX brochure in the link below:

The included Mini-Digilink adapter cable allows you to connect the Avid HDX card to the 96 I/O or 192 I/O audio interfaces.
