mmm. According to Avid the best way to report a bug is to simply post it here. Which we've done. Well if it is a bug which it looks to be, if Avid are continuing to officially support the 003 then they should honor it and fix the problem.

I am seeing this as well. I have tried 9.0.2 and 9.0.5 drivers, same issue.
I was hoping the latest drivers 9.0.6 would help but I am unable to install them (see this thread http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=354107)
The 003 drivers (rack and console) have been buggy for years now. The punch glitch problem, broken reverb tails at low buffers, distortion on start/stop etc.
Why this has never been fixed is pathetic to say the least.

i have the same problem the inner jog wheel does not work ! and also intermittently locks the program

Sadly, it may never be addressed, considering the 003 is a discontinued piece. Maybe add an Artist Transport to cover jog/shuttle needs? I spent so much time without it, I never used it when I went from 002 to 003(002 didn't have the wheel). Now I've moved to HD/Native, so my trusty Faderport is my only control surface
