Digitest failure hd accel card

I Bought an hd core and an hd accel card on ebay and realized I had to buy the flex cable still but figured I would digitest them for now while Im waiting. The Core card tests fine and has no problems whatsoever but the accel card fails digitest. Is this because there is no core card present when I run the test or is the card just bad? I ran tests with only 1 card in at a time since it wont even let me run the test on both together without flex cable.

The failure is "Bus Master Test DSP A -- Failed -- Could not allocate memory for the test.

Sorry if I don't follow...

Did you already install the ribbon cable between the core and accel cards or have you already ordered it? Because if you don't have the cable between the cards, the test should fail.

I know it will fail if they are both installed at the time of the test but if I test them individually will the accel card still fail without the core card or?

And yes, I haven't gotten the ribbon cable yet, just testing the cards since I bought them on ebay and want to make sure they were both in working order so I can return if not.

I have never even thought of testing a lone Accel card, but I would guess it won't pass without a Core card.
