After watching Benonis videoclips about the ERXP i'm pretty sure that you added the stuff that was missing to get a good metal tone. Of course It was already good, but it seams that it only gets better...

Hey there Chimpster ....and this goes out to Chris also....

I just want to say a HUGE THANK YOU in advance for everything that you guys and your team have done. I know that you guys heard a bunch of bitching and whining over the past year regarding adding more features to the 11R (and I'm sure that it got really old, really fast), but once you guys where finally able to acknowledge that we really WERE getting an update, allot of the naysayers got silent and people got really excited...as this thread clearly indicates! You guys really were listening, and as a customer it is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!

I think the custom distortion is brash sounding to me. id prefer something with a less noisy out of control high end. But thats just me.

Thanks Mr. Chimp,

I play in the Australian touring band Zep Boys.

The 11r has replace my analog rig which consisted of 2 x Marshalls and 2x Fender amps with a huge pedal board. I actually think the 11r sounds better.

You can get all kinds of sounds out of the DC Dist. because of time, i could only do a quick sample, of 1 setting, with 1 amp and 1 guitar, 1 mic, 1 cab, no other effects in the chain ect...... Trust me it sounds good.
