Alternative Rosetta 800 setup

I have been using a Rosetta 800 setup at home and for remote for years and use a 003 to get it to the computer via firewire.

The 003 does nothing but connect the adat to the 800 and then firewire to the computer. The only time I even look at it is to see if the adat / firewire lights are on.

I am on my second 003 for this purpose. I know the 800 is a legacy product now so I can't change my output setup now ( I had choices when I bought it)

I don't need another interface as I never use more than the 8 Rosetta converters and high end external preamps

Is there an interface that I can buy make that will just get my adats to the computer via firewire. I really could use the rack space as I do remote recording with this. Is there an electronic guru that makes something like this.

if you can find the firewire card for the 800 and upgrade to 9 or newer you can drop the 003

I am using 10 so that is good to hear

When I bought my first 003 I used it for a long time until I bought the better converters. When it died I was in a hurry so I picked one up for next to nothing compared to what I paid for the first one.
