Akai MPK49 Transport and other

Hi,

I just picked up an Akai MPK49, its awesome, but with protools I'm sort of stuck with the transport. Is there a general way of setting up transport and faders and knobs in protools for midi controllers? Or is this something i need to contact Akai about? Any info would be great.
