Reverting back to PT 9.06 from 10.2

My trial 10.2 has expired and I need to revert back to PT9
I can re-install 9.05 but when I launch the 9.06 updater I get the following warning:

Pro Tools Not Found
The updater cannot locate a valid Pro Tools Installation on your system.

I uninstalled 10 using clean install option. PT 9.05 installed without problems and is working.

System:

MacPro 2 x 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
10 GB Ram
10.7.4
MBox 2 Pro

Any help / insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
