lost edit window
I was working on a song tonight in PT 8.0.5, windows 7 .. and accidentally clicked on the top right X to close the edit window. I was really wanting to minimize it, but I made a mistake and X'd out and closed it. I can't get it back, no matter what I'm trying. I go to Window -> Edit and nothing comes up. I look down on the bottom task bar and nothing shows up. I've lost the edit window. Not sure how to bring it back.

Sounds like you're in the right place. Try going to Window, Arrange, and Tile and see if you get it open that way?
