Low Latency Not Working! Has Anyone Solved This??

I've read several threads on the issue with Low Latency Monitoring but have yet to see any support from Digidesign as to how this can be fixed.

I used a 001 for years with no LLM problems at all.

Last year i upgraded to a Digi002 rack and 7.1 and began experiencing the LLM horrors. more often than not when i would put a new track in record and select LLM i would lose audio.

i can SEE the meters and the audio i'm playing is recorded but i am unable to hear it all when monitoring. toggling input modes does not make a difference.

i figured out that if i changed my buffer size BAM! i'd have audio back. this was an annoying step to have to repeat over and over but at least it worked...

NOW i have an mBox PRO because i wanted something smaller than the 002.

SAME PROBLEM with LLM but NOW there's NO way to fix it.

trashing prefs, switching buffer size, rebooting, turning voice off and on...NOTHING works. i just sit around restarting and restarting and, if i'm lucky, a day or two later LLM decides to work again.

this is KILLING me. and there are several posts where others are having the same problem.

PLEASE HELP!

(also...the 'underflowed' errors in 7.3 really, really suck. please fix fast Digi.)
