Pro Tools First Hanging while Recording

The Pro Tools First software I have that came bundled with my Focusrite Studio 2i2 Gen 3, keeps hanging while recording. Often, it stops midway while recording. Most of my attempts so far has been with one or two parallel tracks.

The only solution I have found is to either close the project and reopen, or if that does not work, exit and restart Pro Tools.

This is very annoying, and takes up a lot of unwanted time.

I have tried reinstalling the software and also the USB driver for the device but that does not solve this issue?

My computer is a latest Dell desktop, Windows 10, 8 GB Memory. i5, 2.8 Ghz.

Pro Tools First is Version 2019.6.0
