AutoSave Bug Crashes ProTools while Editing
So if you're performing an edit operation like TCE on a clip or working with certain plugins AND at the same time ProTools tries to AutoSave, it will cause ProTools to crash. So basically while you're simultaneously doing something and the computer is thinking and autosave initiates - > crash. Literally a crash occurred at the same time I was performing a TCE operation just now.

Re: AutoSave Bug Crashes ProTools while Editing
I haven't experienced this - have you tried PT 2020.12.0?

Re: AutoSave Bug Crashes ProTools while Editing
I’ve had this happen occasionally with TCE or clip gain tweaks. Running 2020.12. But programs like Safari might also be open in the background, so I’m not always running PT fully optimized. My workaround is compulsive command-s keystrokes while editing.
