S6 Waveform issues
I am having an issue with waveforms that has arisen on our latest show. I have tracks provided by two different sound fx editors that get imported into a template, making for a pretty large session. Waveforms on the S6 display modules frequently stop responding. They will either continue to scroll when the transport has stopped or changed direction or they won't scroll at all.

Greetings,
Can you please give us some more details on the issue. Is this only happening is super large sessions? Is this a new issue - which follows a change to OS, PT or S6 versions? Are you using the DHCP server in the Master Module or an external DHCP server? Do you have multiple Ethernet and Wireless networks connected? thanks, Jeff |

It is only happening in the very large sessions that we are mixing now. We had these same track counts in the first season of this show without having any waveform issues. There has been no change to OS, PT or S6 in that time. We are using the Master Module DHCP server, only the one ethernet port is connected on the Master Module from the switch inside the frame. We have both ethernet ports in use on the workstations. The first port is the S6 network as well as the Satellite network. The second port is our "dark" production network. No wireless in use, no internet either. Thanks for your help, Eddie |

With these very large sessions are you seeing warnings on the Workstation page for excessive memory, CPU or network errors? This will also be reflected on the graphs page.

attached is a picture of that page. The icon for the system in question has the yellow exclamation in it most of the time. This is the "normal" state even with smaller sessions open. maybe a switch issue?
