Default PT HD10, Apogee Symphony 64 PCIe, OSX10.8.5 - will this work ?

Hi iam planning to setup a budget used Mac rig... but iam not sure about any driver/osx compatibility issues before i take the plunge...

PT HD10.3.10 used as DAW
Apogee Symphony 64 PCIe
Apogee AD16x & DA16x with X-Symphony addin cards
OSX 10.8.5

will this HW work on OSX10.8.5 ? iam not sure if there are some OSX10.8.5 limitations or if Pro Tools HD10 doesnt limit use of non-avid interfaces somehow... I plan to use Pro Tools HD10 as DAW only with no AVID HW...

i guess my biggest concern is if Pro Tools HD10 play well with Apogee Symphony 64 PCIe without any limitations...

thanks for any answers

Hi There
I have a Thunderbridge which I believe is just a Apogee Symphony 64 PCIe card inside a thunderbolt box which I use with a Symphony I/O which has a "Symphony Mode" that is just like X-Symphony cards you have in your interface.
Both PT 10 & 11 for that matter work fine on 10.8.5. You just need to select the PCIe card as your I/O in the Setup menu.
Not exactly the same, but hopefully helpful anyway.

Why not ditch the Apogee Cards and go with TDM cards? The Apogee AD\DA will work with the TDM Cards.
