Why is there still so few Digi plugs with Protools???

So many simple plugs like CHORUS, FLANGE , PHASER , AUTOPAN , AUTO FILTER , DELAY FILTER are missing !!!!!

It's not very hard to make your own Phaser, Flanger, and Chorus using the delay plugins with Pro Tools.

Still, after seeing what Logic and even Soundtrack Pro come with, I do have to agree. The plugin selection doesn't really do much in terms of FX plugs.

Certainly the new plugins that come with Logic 8 are pretty cool: the new echo plugin (simple tempo sync only), microphaser, and the very cool delay designer. There was already a Chorus plugin and a phaser plugin.

I remember some time back that there was a site where you could download a bunch of presets for the Digirack plugins and they included things like Chorus, flange and various slapbacks, etc.

If anyone remembers that site or knows of another one with plugin presets for Digirack plugins and can post it, that would be helpful.

It would be nice if they made some RTAS versions of the all ready included AS plugs available, Flange, Chorus Etc

I keep forgeting about the AS versions since they're not something you automatically reach for when you think of "chorus".

I always wondered why the Flanger, Chorus ETC were AS only.

But never thought to ask.

I went and purchased Nomad Factory Liquid Bundle II so I had some of the "basic" guitar effects available whithout having to spend a while getting those sounds out of Delays.

I have the Nomad Free bundle but if I recall its PC only.
