I saw something the other day in an investment article targeting Q1 2015 if they could get everything working smoothly by then.

Infact most of this is already available with Isis, Interplay, and Sphere.... They are simply renaning it and adding some extras like opening that pipe up to other applications other than Media Composer.

Eh, cool I guess.

What are the current options for session sharing?

That would benefit me greatly right now.... being able to link up in the same sessions, real time, and then share/upload/download/sync the files/sessions

Seriously large time saver for me at the moment if I can get some software that works right without being all quirky

Thats being developed as I type... though its not "ready" to unveil so to speak. A lot of argument on that work flow too with 2 users cutting adjusting editing, etc on the same timeline PT or Media Composer.

The closest I have seen was an audio editing software that does the changes as one editor makes one on the other users computer near in real time. The media was stored on Soundcloud or Dropbox I think and the users were simply sending meta data back and forth through the cloud to change the master session sitting on the cloud... it seemed to work but it was not Pro Tools

I would find it completely annoying to have someone else create a edit a clip when I am editing that clip its a lot of fighting each others edits sometimes.

Best scenario in my mind is a simple cloud based media server that can send proxy files of the media to local users, you check the session out of the cloud and back in for someone else to edit...

My other thought on this Everywhere thing is that is will cost an arm and leg, probably around a million I would guess to have one and would exponentially go up in cost as you expand and add more users and storage etc...
