Chimp, I'm using the cable that came with the Rack, the USB ports are 2.0 compliant, I tried both checking and unchecking the 'ignore errors'. same result, bad clicks and pops during playback. Is it sandra report time?

Yep, looks that way...unless this is just a case of clipping. Have you checked the METERS block and/or your session for clipping?

Dude we did it!!!.....heres what was happening, the ports on this gigabyte board have 4 that support USB 2.0/1.1, thats what the rack was plugged into. It also has 2 ports that supports 3.0/2.0. I plugged it into one of the 3.0/2.0 ports and no more clicks and pops!....i figured the ports that are 2.0/1.1 were the ones to use...I figured wrong! Wow, I can't believe all this time it was plugged into the wrong port. I've been staring at this monitor for over a week totally stressed out.
