Drum Pattern Editor
I am using Pro Tools 7.3 and BFD 1.5 on a Mac. What is the best pattern editor to use and export midi drum patterns, to import into P.T. as a region so that I can just drag and drop into the PT sequencer? I have Reason with ReDrum, and that seems to work pretty good, but I am totally new to this and I would rather spend the time to learn the best one from the start. Drawing in the pattern in P.T. is too time consuming for me, and just not quite as easy as Redrum.
Any help would be great. Thanks. |

Re: Drum Pattern Editor
Reason pattern editor/sequencer sucks. Very basic. You have Pro Tools in your hands, c'mon it's like a Mercedes vs a Toyota or something, why would you use the inferior one? Anyway, I simply suggest to use the Reason instruments as an Instrumental Tracks right in Pro Tools and do all your editing and pattern edits in the Pro Tools sequencer.
