Default Re: Which Firewire Cable 6 or 4 pin? to iMac

It works fine. I've daisy-chained 3 hard drives and a 003rack. Computer>hard drive(s)>interface. The interface will use a 800 to 400 adapter cable, or in some cases, if the last hard drive has a 400 port and 800 port it can work as an adapter and you just plug your 400 cable into it. Apparently this doesn't work with all hard drives that way, but it works with the OWC drives, at least for me. If not, just get an 800 to 400 adapter cable. Belkin is inexpensive and seems to work.

thanks.
It's not a big deal. It simply works.
