Default Quick shortcut for bringing up a plug in.

Hey so I recently went from PT10 to 2018 and when I was on PT10 I sent up some one hit keys i.e. F11 etc to access plug ins like "Reverse", however I cant seem to do the same in 2018.
For example I did the whole preferences > keyboard> shortcut etc etc and put in control+option+command+R to bring up my reverse plug in and I can see it in the shortcut folder as such but in pro tools I hit those four keys and get nothing.
I have A...Z enabled.
Any help would be great, thanks

Not exactly the same but you can send plugins to the top of the Audio Suite list the same way you favourite insert plugins, (ctrl+click on Windows). I usually favourite Reverse and Vocalign which are the Audio Suite ones I use most.

Yer thanks I already have my go to plug ins there in that favourite list, I was just wondering if you can still have those hot keys which open the plug in with one key like F11 for example.
Maybe PT 2018 and Apple doesn't work like that anymore, a few people have said that those shortcuts don't work anymore, pity if that true as they were handy.

I'm still using custom shortcuts in System Preferences in 2018.7, but I'm still on 10.12.6.

Yep tried it and still no love, as I said I had these hotkeys working on older Pro Tools but they don't work with 2018. Pity they changed this option.

You may already be doing this, but...
Try this:
Go to System Preferences>Keyboard, then click on the Shortcuts tab
Click on App Shortcuts in the left pane
Click on the plus sign (+) to create a new shortcut
Select Pro Tools.app (or whatever you've named your Pro Tools app, mine is "Pro Tools 20187.app")
Under Menu Title, put "AudioSuite->Other->Reverse"
Under Keyboard Shortcut, put whatever function key you want to use

This is working for me on PT Ultimate 2018.7 in macOS 10.12.6

ProTools Window Configurations will recall audio suite plugins.

1. call up the necessary audio suite plugin window.
2. save as a new window configuration (Configuration 1)
3. Close plugin window
4. type .1* to recall the window configuration thus recalling the audio suite plugin.

There's a pretty great chance your key combo now overlaps with one already taken. Give it a new key combo and it should work (I say this as someone who has had the exact same situation happen when Avid or Apple added new key combos. Took forever to find the overlap.)
